Animals in Lace

The publishing work is connected with an exhibition of a selection of a hundred items of the Caprai Collection, all of them related to the zoological theme. This is a study of the presence both in needle and in bobbin laces, in filet and in white work embroideries of real, imaginary or mythological animals, of birds and insects, to try to find logical, symbolic, historical, magical explanations.
